And a Coke bottle...

Today was quite a contrast to yesterday. Went to Mallory Park with Dad to watch Colin test his Peugeot 205 GTi race car. It didn't exactly go to plan as his ever-problematic engine decided to play up and then seize. So he only managed a few laps, and not particularly fast ones at that. Still, I got to see a 'race outfit' in operation (complete with Coca Cola bottle...) and watched the other cars, motorbikes and sidecars test.

The picture that I said I'd take isn't of me, but it is of the car with the bonnet open... I took a picture when it was driving around but the limitations of my T610's camera mean that you can't see much due to the speed of the car and the sun behind it... Still, I think that this picture is more appropriate anyway!

As for Cambridge, well they drew 2-2 which really wasn't good enough at home against the team that has been consistently one of the worst in the league, and who are currently 8 points adrift at the bottom of the table. Shaggy has said he's keen to stay on, but the knives are coming out...

Off out to snooker tonight as I can't play badminton yet. My calf muscle is better but needs some more time I think to mend before I'm too active.

And I've burnt the top of my mouth on macaroni cheese...
