Today has been...not one of my best. Wallowing would be too dramatic a term,
but certainly I've been overly relaxed and have not felt like getting up at all. I would say that 75% of today has been
spent in bed either sleeping or reading (the excellent) "The Sacred Art of
Stealing" by Christopher Brookmyre. It's an excellent book and I recommend it,
along with everything else he's written. (Note - If you do decide to read his
stuff read them in the order he wrote them as there are cross references etc.
that are even better if you know what they refer to...)
Tomorrow I am off to Mallory Park with Dad and Colin so that Colin can test
his race car.
The
contrast from today will be such that here is a picture of today, and I'll
take another one at the track tomorrow. In my defence by the way, I'd only just
woken up...
On another track ()
completely there is tonight a very important football match between Cambridge
United and Carlisle United. Cambridge are in freefall, Carlisle on a roll. If
Cambridge lose this they are thrown headlong into a relegation battle they have
until now been only on the edges of. Relegation to the Conference would kill
Cambridge United Football Club. As I can't be there I shall mentally shout from
here "COME ON YOU 'U'S!!!" and keep my fingers crossed...
